Allegri Junior and Youth Choirs was established in May 2017 to give local children the opportunity to:

They were delighted to be invited to record in a live session with talented singer-songwriter ROE. The group accompanied ROE on her single Playground Fights.

Allegri Junior and Youth Choirs have taken part in a range of musical outreach projects exploring themes such as mental health awareness and cultural diversity. Each year we have a week long summer scheme for young people aged 8 - 16 years with activities including group singing, drama, dance, visual arts, sign language and outdoor pursuits.

In 2018 Allegri commissioned American composer Dr Shane Lynch and Derry poet Mícheál McCann to write a suite of choral works. "Beauty's in Your Singing" was written for Allegri Junior Choir which highlighted the importance of music and positive mental well-being.
